Harbour House Restaurant

V&A Waterfront

This project uses local alien timber Eucalyptus Cladocalyx in an expressed structural manner; the grid of solid wood columns and beams overhead becomes the “interior design”, they impart a warmth and character to the restaurant interior. The new timber structure attaches itself to an old boat building shed in the heart of the V&A Waterfront and carries a large roof deck - this is the perfect venue for relaxing and taking in the surrounding harbour views over a delicious cocktail.

Status: completed in 2012
